Earlier this year, we helped support an environmental project in Madagascar, run by the brilliant charity SEED Madagascar.
The charity are currently running another important campaign to raise funds to support with coronavirus response work in Madagascar. Being the poorest country in the World, the virus is set to have a devastating effect on the island and help is vitally needed.
The campaign is brilliantly simple. Buy a face mask, for yourself, from the charity for £5 and the funds from the sale go towards helping in Madagascar. £5 could help commission five masks to be made by skilled community members in Madagascar, where £1 covers the cost of materials, labour at 2.5x the minimum wage, and distribution of a single mask.
